London Public Library & Metro Stop

Fortress: A procession Through The Surreal

Fall 2015- 8 Week Design Charrette  / ArchMedium Student Competition

The binding of extended paths forms the spine of the London Public Library and The "Tower of Books" Metro Stop. Foot traffic coming from Southwark and the Tower Bridge converge and create two primary paths extruding through the Potters Field Site. The point of linear intersection situates the London Public Library and the Tower of Books Metro Stop. A port adjacent to the Thames River leads readers directly into the library.
